The Art-Nouveau French Restaurant is located in the right wing of the Municipal House. It was officially opened on December 31, 1911, and is rightly considered to be the most beautiful Art-Nouveau restaurant in the world. It is a prestigious, first-class restaurant, with Art-Nouveau interior decorations and furnishing, highly commended by experts (Gurmán, Grand Restaurant) for both its high-quality cuisine and unique atmosphere, augmented by jazz or live piano music. A highly professional team is led by chef Jan Horký, the captain of the National Team of the Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs of the Czech Republic. The French Restaurant offers primarily French and international cuisine.
